Samuel performing "Waiting to Begin" from the new musical "The Rhythmics"
I graduated from the famous Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2016 with a 1st class BA(HONS) in Musical Theatre.

I have also been a part of numerous new musical workshops and cast recordings/ demo recordings, which have allowed creatives to develop their work and make improvements/ edits to their projects.
I have had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest names in the business, including Jason Robert Brown, Cassidy Janson, Samantha Barks, Jonathan Bailey, Danielle De Niese, Kelsey Grammar, Nicholas Lyndurst, Arthur Darvill, Peter Polycarpou, Rebecca Trehearn, Cynthia Erivo and more.
I have been able to develop my skills and learn from working with these professionals and continue to learn from working on various productions.
I have been teaching singing and voice since leaving drama school in 2016, working with numerous clients of different ages and varying abilities to help achieve their goals. I have worked both face-to-face as well as remotely; whatever suits the client best and obviously since the lockdown, the ability to teach remotely has become very useful and vital! It was for this exact reason I decided to start this online service! I want people to feel like they can stay on top of their goals and skills, despite this difficult situation we find ourselves in.
The main styles of singing I focus on are Musical Theatre and Pop, however, the various techniques and methods that I apply to my teaching can help to strengthen any voice regardless of what your chosen style of singing and/ or speaking is.
I teach using the very effective 'Estill Vocal Technique'. This approach to the voice focuses on the various mechanics and components of the voice that we have to use our voices in the most efficient way. We will focus on breath control, muscular release and control and placement/ set up.
Not only have I worked with actors, singers and various other types of performer, but also with people just wanting to learn a new skill or people with jobs that require public speech such as lecturers, teachers, businessmen who often have to present spoken pitches and motivational speakers.
No one is incapable of using their voice to its full potential; and unlocking that full potential can open a door to a whole world of benefits, regardless of what industry you work in. It can also help to build personal confidence and give you a skill that you can hold on to for life! Learning a skill based around your voice can increase your confidence levels, boost your productivity and creativity and, guess what, next time your friends suggest a night out at a karaoke bar, you're going to wipe the floor with your new ability!
I am always happy and keen to take on new students and look forward to being able to pass on all the experience and knowledge of the voice that I have developed.
I also have a full DBS certificate and have experience working with children from aged 10 + in both a group teaching environment as well as one-on-one sessions.
I can't wait to hear more about you and what you are hoping to achieve from these sessions.
