Simbi has just finished performing in Prince of Egypt at the Dominion Theatre in the West End, where she was with the show since 2019, and enduring various shut downs due to the pandemic.

Since graduating with a 1st Class BA (Hons degree in Musical Theatre from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts Simbi has gained a wealth of experience in the theatre.

Before lockdown she was part of the Original West End Cast of ‘The Prince of Egypt’ and thankfully will be resuming her role in the ensemble and u/s Nefertari and Miriam when the Dominion Theatre is able to open its doors again.

She has performed in a wide range of shows and been very fortunate to work with amazing artists. This has enabled her to develop her vocal versatility from belting out an upbeat pop/rock song in ‘Ghost the Musical’ to singing in a ‘legit’ style in ‘The Light in the Piazza’. She believes vocal versatility is hugely important and can be achieved with any voice. Simbi adores performing and is eager to pass on what she has learnt along the way.

Simbi has been involved in various workshops, concerts, play readings and recently sang on ‘The Prince of Egypt’ Original Cast recording at Angel Recording Studios.

If you are preparing for drama school auditions, looking to develop acting through song or wanting to build your vocal confidence, please don’t hesitate to contact her and can get stuck in!
